Experience our monthly raku firing workshop where you can observe the glazing and firing of the raku process.

Raku involves pulling red-hot pots out of a kiln, closing them up in a flaming reduction chamber, and quenching them while still hot enough to boil water. We may also do some horse hair raku.

Please call us at 931-542-6615 for a discount code before booking.
A 100% refund will be granted if notice of cancellation is provided no later than 10 days before your selected workshop. A 50% refund will be provided if notice of cancellation is provided 5 days before your selected workshop. If you choose to cancel after this period, workshop fees will not be refunded for any reason except for extenuating medical emergencies.

If you reserve a spot in a one night pottery workshop and would later like to transfer your spot to another scheduled workshop, we require that you contact us no later than 10 days before your scheduled workshop in order to process your request.
If River City Clay needs to reschedule or cancel the class for any unforeseen reason, you will be notified and given the option to transfer your spot to a different class or to receive a full refund.

One Night Pottery Class Workshop participants must be at least 12 years of age.

River City Clay is not responsible for breakage of ceramic work during any part of the process.
